Waylon Dempsey

 

I am a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and a graduate of The Motorcylce Mechanics Institue. I have been riding and working on motorcycles all my life and began doing it as a profession upon graduating MMI in 2008. After working in a dealership for 2 years, I got my start with a race team building engines for numerous drag bikes and road race teams through Orient Express. In 2012 I moved back home to Massachusetts where I now work for Woodcraft Technologies full time and started Van Waylon Motorsports to continue to build fast bikes.

My father and my mentor, has built many drag racing engines and fast motors for the automotive industry. He has done many meticulous, frame off rebuilds, for some beautiful cars. He was the crew chief for the top alcohol funny car The Boston Strangler for many years. He now is a driver for KC Jones' jet car pairing with him in the Chattanooga ChooChoo and KC piloting the Cannonball Express down the 1/4 mile.
